U.S. Men's National Soccer Team

U.S. Men’s National Soccer Team is part of the CONCACAF (Confederation of North, Central American, and Caribbean Association Football) conference and plays national matches in various stadiums around the country. The team first started kicking the ball around in 1884, which is the year of the first international game - though it was considered unofficial. The Yanks don't have the most illustrious soccer history, though they've won multiple CONCACAF titles in recent history, and a gold in the Pan American Games in 1991. Some of the more notable American players have included Clint Dempsey, Maurice Edu, Landon Donovan, Cobi Jones, and Tony Meola.
