Baltimore celebrates the many traditions and folk cultures that make up Maryland’s diverse communities at the annual Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival. Held on a day in June, the 2013 Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival takes place at the Creative Alliance at the Patterson in Baltimore, MD.

The Maryland Traditions Folklife Festival features a wide range of eclectic cultural performers including live music and dancer demonstrations. Past performers include The Swallows, Lafayette Gilchrist & The New Volcanoes, The Carroll County Ramblers; Sam Ouen-Tes & Cambodian Buddhist Ensemble, and Uhwachi-Reh. Foodies can fill up on local Baltimore favorites while soaking up this celebration of culture.
