Macworld iWorld Description

Apple users are notorious for being diehard brand fanatics, so to celebrate all things Mac, techheads and geeks unite at the annual Macworld iWorld. Held from the end of January through the beginning of February, Macworld iWorld takes place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The Macworld iWorld features a wide range of activities and events for Mac fans. Techies flock to workshops in mobile photography, digital art galleries, panel discussions, the massive expo hall, and even screenings at the iPhone Film Festival.

Workshops and talks at Macworld iWorld are led by CEOs, tech gurus, and celebrity geeks like SNL’s Fred Armisen. From “iPhoneography” to iOS development, Apple fans can learn how to take full advantage of the latest technological developments while stocking up on great gear and peripherals by Apple accessory companies.

Tickets to the expo hall at Macworld iWorld range from about $25 to around $45 depending on how early tickets are booked. Workshops cost about an additional $275 each. For access to the expo, all talks, and screenings, loyal Apple fans select the iFan Pass at around $75 online and about $125 at the door. After checking out what the world of Macs has to offer, meet up with fellow geeks at the cafés and bars South of Market.
