Party Earth Review Located in the heart of Dogpatch, the eponymously named Dogpatch Saloon has a long history of offering folks a simple, friendly place to gather for post-work palavers. The building is easy to spot thanks to the martini-sipping pooch emblazoned on the façade, while the wood-slatted booths inside provide a decent vantage ... more

Party Earth Review Harbored on an industrial waterfront stretch of Dogpatch, The Ramp (not so) quietly serves up lots of seafood and suds amid the squalls of seagulls and salty air. Perched right against the docks, the venue’s palm tree- and umbrella-strewn patio is usually filled with a slew of alfresco-lovin’ patrons, who while away the ... more

Party Earth Review Sandwiched between barren lots and auto body shops, the unassuming Bottom of the Hill may never win any awards for “cool” based on its façade, but what it lacks on the outside it more than makes up for on the inside – and Bay Area music lovers know it’s one of the best spots in town to catch the cream of the under-the-radar ... more

With an eclectic mix of industrial estates and condos, it’s true that Potrero Hill doesn’t have the most happening social scene on San Francisco’s calendar. However, cool bars with awesome crowds do still exist in this Bay Area locale.
From evening onwards, this sleepy neighborhood begins to swell as merry patrons make their way in search of a cold one. Although locals make up much of this scene, tenacious tourists, buzzing blue collars, cool college kids, and serious music heads come to indulge in a vibrant bar scene.
Big time music fans are regulars in hangouts such as Bottom of the Hill. Although it may not look like anything out of the ordinary from the outside, the venue hosts lively revelers and some of the west coast’s best untapped artists; this spot is always a good call.
Local blue collars that populate this neighborhood can be spotted with a tall beer in the likes of Dogpatch Saloon. With Sundays seeing a particularly lively crowd as jazz takes to the stage, it is not long before everyone is in an electric mood.
