San Jose State University Event Center (San Jose, CA)

As a student at SJSU I love this venue. I've been here a couple of time to see mainstream artist such as Wiz Khalifa, Rick Ross, Asap Rocky, Drake, and Tiesto. Many great artist play here and for a decent, not too expensive price. The event center is relatively small and comfortable, though its awesome because your able to be up close and personal with the artist because the stage is so close to the audience. Yet, the only thing I would say thats annoying about the center is that the lines get packed early and wrap around the buildings around the center. So I advise any one who wants to be close to the stage get there very very early. In the event center there is really no "bad" place to stand because its circular and at ground level, everyones able to have cool little spot to see. Its a calm cool college atmosphere with lots of security so safety is good. No alcoholic beverages available, but downtown San Jose is right down the way (a few feet away) where there are bars, nightclubs, hotels, and food places. FYI: A lot of the artist that perform there go downtown before and after their performance.
