Party Earth Review One of a handful of SoMa clubs that cater to the eighteen and over crowd, Club NV – aka “Club 525” – attracts a markedly younger set of college-age revelers with its ever-changing rotation of special events and loud dance music. Just because one can’t drink legally doesn’t mean a night of dancing has to be crossed off the to-do list. San Francisco’s 18 and over clubs allow the city’s younger partiers to get out and about without having to fork over extra cash for an overpriced mixed drink.
Within the highrises and office buildings that dominate the landscape of the Downtown/Financial District skyline exist some haunts where the DJs spin tracks as under-21 college coeds move to the music. At Club NV, hip-hop beats rule supreme as scantily-clad girls take to the dance floor. Not too far from there is Ruby Skye, where some of the world’s most famous DJs have played, including Tiësto and Paul Oakenfold.
Other 18 and over clubs in San Francisco that won’t turn the almost-of-drinking-age-crowd away at the door are Rickshaw Stop in Civic Center, and Death Guild in SoMa.
