Party Earth Review Locals don’t usually make a point of hanging out in hotel lounges, but they make an exception for Redwood Room. Located in the luxury Clift Hotel, the venue has been exuding (upper) class since the 1930s, and the long bar – reportedly carved from a single redwood – is a frequent stop for people who never have issues paying ... more

Party Earth Review Tucked above the lobby of the boutique Mystic Hotel, Burritt Room has only been part of Union Square’s nightlife since 2010 – but given that the building went up a hundred years prior, this watering hole has an old-time feel far beyond its years. Named after the adjoining alleyway – the site of a murder in the Humphrey ... more

Party Earth Review A genre-bending combination of lounge, poolside hotel bar, and high-end restaurant, CHAMBERS eat + drink is where haughty foodies, loud yuppies, and purposefully dorky hipsters all find something to love. Whether you’re looking for cool cocktail lounges full of interesting conversation or just a place to drink steps from your bed, San Francisco hotel bars make it easy. Tucked above the lobby of the boutique Crescent Hotel in Downtown SF, Burritt Room has only been part of Union Square’s nightlife since 2010 – but given that the building went up a hundred years prior, this watering hole has an old-time feel far beyond its years.
Next to the Phoenix Hotel over in the ever-gritty Tenderloin, CHAMBERS eat + drink is a genre-bending combination of lounge, poolside hotel bar, and high-end restaurant where haughty foodies, loud yuppies, and purposefully dorky hipsters all find something to love.
And then there’s the grand Redwood Room located in the luxury Clift Hotel, which has been exuding (upper) class since the 1930s. The long bar in Redwood was reportedly carved from a single redwood tree, and is a frequent stop for people who never have issues paying off a credit card, as well as luxurious ladies who charge a helluva lot more than minimum wage by the hour.
Hotel bars in San Francisco aren’t all grand or cool, but the ones that are, entice folks from all over the Bay Area to drop in for the night…and maybe stay till morning.
