The Roma Gospel Festival is an annual gospel music event produced by the Music for Rome Foundation. The festival, which first began in 1995, features American choirs and gospel groups and is the largest of its kind in Europe.
Past performers at the 13-day Roma Gospel Festival include Walt Whitman and the Soul Children of Chicago, Anthony Morgan’s Inspirational Choir of Harlem, The Jackson Singers, and Robin Brown and Triumphant Delegation.
Each December, Roma Gospel Festival attracts over 2,000 spectators and brings music to historic locations like Piazza del Pantheon, Piazza Vittorio, and Piazza di Spagna.
Tickets for each performance at the Roma Gospel Festival range from 20-30 euro.
