Popular with a young clubbing crowd, Mood is a loud, dynamic club with a simple décor and a focus on hip-hop music, style, and dancing.
Once past the burly bouncers, energetic patrons enter a chic white foyer and descend the stairs into a long open room that features glass chandeliers, strobe lights, white walls, and a few tables and sofas that provide a place to take a break from the heated action.
Two larger areas occupy either end of the room, where partiers groove to deafening hip-hop and R&B, making conversation tricky.
Although most of the clientele is part of the hip-hop crowd, Mood also attracts a broader set of clubbers looking to dance into the night.
What the diverse patrons share, however, is a love of hip-hop fashion and music – a common interest perfectly suited to Mood, where the vibe is all about dancing and enjoying the tunes.
Regulars in hip-hop style, young travelers, and lovers of house and R&B, late teens to late 30s.
Dance, progressive and tribal house, hip-hop, R&B, and pop.
None.
Beer €5, cocktails €10, shots €3.
Trendy casual, on the dressy side.
Most crowded on weekends from September through June.
The late-night hot dog and hamburger joint Dog Out is located just a few blocks west (Corso Vittorio Emanuele II, 225).
