Party Earth Lo Yeti Review

The Scene

A much-loved haunt of its residential neighbors and popular with an eclectic health-conscious crowd of both hippies and hipsters, Lo Yeti is a cute Café and bookshop that turns into a bar by night.

A much-loved haunt of its residential neighbors and popular with an eclectic health-conscious crowd of both hippies and hipsters, Lo Yeti is a cute café and bookshop that turns into a bar by night.

Trees wrapped in twinkling coral lights lead patrons to the café’s outdoor tables, usually filled with groups engrossed in animated conversation.

Inside, the family-friendly two-room space is simply decorated with clocks and hanging art and consists of the café and bookshop up front – a haven for vegetarians and vegans – and a small room in back that’s full of toys and games for kids.

Located in the somewhat edgy district of Pigneto, the café definitely attracts an opinionated, politically active crowd, but the overall vibe is welcoming and outgoing.

And since there are so few places like Lo Yeti that successfully combine the café/bookshop concept with a snappy little bar scene, it’s no wonder that it’s often difficult to find a place to sit.
