Canal St. Martin - 10eme, Paris –
Located along Canal St. Martin and once a British officers’ mess hall, Bizz’art is now a legendary nightspot where in-the-know music lovers go to listen to live music, guzzle spirits, and dance until the sun rises.
Wood floors, white walls, and crystal chandeliers juxtaposed against the original rafters give the concert hall an airy yet elegant atmosphere, perfect for the sophisticated couples lined up at the bar sipping cocktails like La Vie en Rose, a heady concoction of muddled strawberries, vodka, and champagne.
Those with the munchies will have a great view of the action from the restaurant on the mezzanine, where foodies tuck into foie gras and duck magret before the concert begins.
Back on the main floor, low tables and comfy club chairs attract groups of scenesters, students, and music lovers, who groove to the soul singers before moving onto the dance floor for a few sets of hot jazz or, once the live acts end, the funky beats of the DJ.
Unpretentious and with a full roster of killer musical acts, Bizz’art is just the spot for rocking out and throwing some shapes on the dance floor.
