Every summer, cities around the globe celebrate Gay Pride (also known as LGBT Pride), which commemorates the historic trials and tribulations of the global LGBT community while celebrating equality rights, sexual diversity, and gender variance.
Global Pride events vary in size and scope. Whether small, large, solemn, or carnivalesque, people from all sexual backgrounds unite under the rainbow flag for a month of Pride bashes.
One of the most exciting cities to celebrate LGBT Pride in 2018 is Paris. The City of Light boasts massive Pride parties like Paris Gay Pride Parade 2018. Starting in South Paris, the procession travels to and over the Seine River before ending at the Place de la Bastille. A massive dance party breaks out at the parade’s conclusion and surrounding area bars offer dinner and drink deals to keep the LGBT bash going.
Paris is also home to a host of Gay Pride bars like La Champmeslé and Yono. The latter offers a solid mix of sophistication and sex appeal with its soaring ceilings, intricate mosaics of colored tiles, and cool stone interior. Guests of all kinds groove to music by DJs and bands to the early hours of the morning.
