A secluded little hotspot that has been on the Parisian scene since 2004, Le Baron is a tiny nightclub with a big reputation.
A dark, red-velvet lounge surrounded by two-way mirrors gives way to the club’s only other area, a simple room featuring a long bar and a collection of fashion photography.
The “casual glam” factor, which has attracted everyone from Lindsay Lohan to Sophia Coppola and their attendant paparazzi, lends Le Baron the feel of a private club meant for a certain circle – and the limited space and selective door policy only contribute to that feeling.
The upscale clientele of trendsetters, glitterati, status seekers, and jet-setters fill the place almost every night of the week and tend to lounge or dance as the spirit moves them.
Le Baron stays open late, so those who can’t get in early on can try stopping by for a pre-dawn drink.
Chic French patrons, the international jet set, and their entourages, 20s and 30s.
Varies nightly depending on DJ or guest performer, but mostly electronic.
None.
Beer and wine €12+, cocktails €15+.
Smart casual to designer dressy.
Friday nights are the most popular.
