Party Earth Review Conceived by the same purveyors of custom cocktails behind Experimental Cocktail Club and Curio Parlor, Prescription Cocktail Club is a chill, low-profile speakeasy with a constant crowd of the trendy, the hip, and the cool lining up outside its doors. The long bar on the first floor may be the centerpiece of the venue ... more

Party Earth Review Developed by the same team who created the popular Experimental Cocktail Club, Curio Parlor joined the Latin Quarter scene in 2008 and has since developed a loyal (arguably die-hard) following of young mixology lovers. After entering through an unmarked door and a set of velvet curtains, patrons find themselves in a cozy ... more

Party Earth Review Created by three young Frenchmen with a dream to open a cocktail bar in Paris – somewhat of a rarity in this city – Experimental Cocktail Club is just that: a baroque-styled one-room bar that specializes in intricate classic cocktails bursting with basil, lemon grass, elderflower, and lord knows what else. Paris is home to many things, but you’d be hard-pressed to argue that speakeasies are one of them. Sure, there are a few underground watering holes reminiscent of the old days, but Paris never really developed the speakeasy craze like New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. In fact, one of the most famous speakeasies in Paris, Experimental Cocktail Club, was created by three young Frenchmen who wished to rectify the fact that cocktail bars in general are somewhat of a rarity in this city.
A baroque-style one-room bar that specializes in intricate classic libations bursting with basil, lemon grass, and elderflower, ECC has been so successful that it spawned sister establishments in both London and New York, and remains an easygoing yet spirited spot that feels more like a private party for eclectic artists than just another bar. The guys behind Experimental didn’t stop there either, opening up the swankier Prescription Cocktail Club in Saint Germain and Curio Parlor over in the Latin Quarter, the latter of which quickly developed a loyal following of young mixology lovers.
So what if there aren’t a hundred speakeasies in Paris to choose from! Their rarity only makes them that more special.
