A spirited and cheery hangout, Café del Soul is a narrow bar and eatery where easygoing patrons of all ages enjoy a chill vibe and a hearty selection of both tapas and cocktails.
Warm, coral-colored adobe walls and groovy electronic dance music add to the mellow vibe, while the Gaudí-inspired tables and booths in the back create an authentic Spanish feel and provide comfy nooks for the casual, friendly groups that gather there for a bit of relaxing.
Later in the evening, especially when the DJs show up on the weekends, the venue takes on a funkier vibe as the lights dim and the volume rises.
One of the bar’s more interesting particularities is that there’s a door at either end, each one facing its own picturesque street. Guests can stop in at one end of Café del Soul for a light dinner, then pass through for a couple of cocktails and a bit of neighborly conversation with the outgoing and welcoming clientele.
Sociable crowd, all ages.
DJs on the weekends, mellow music during the week.
Tapas, salads, pasta, natural fruit juices, and ice cream.
Appetizers €2–€3, entrées €5–€7, desserts €2–€3. Beer €2–€3, wine €1.50–€3, mixed drinks €6–€8.
Casual.
Weekends at 11pm when the DJ is spinning, or weeknights after 10pm.
