People: Because of its central location in the financial district, BCK attracts a lot of business professionals, both young and old, throughout the week. Vibe: The outdoor patio offers a laid back atmosphere that's clutch for the sunny days that LA is famous for. I've never sat inside, so I can't vouch for what it's like. Everyone there is relatively easy going, and at the outdoor bar they usually show a sports game where businessmen can get their fill during their lunch break. Food/Drink: Their menu is relatively similar to the entrees offered at the various Mendocino Farms locations; i.e., several farm fresh sandwiches and salads. Because this is a slightly more formal (and I use the term very loosely) location, there are more options in terms of appetizers and big plates. I highly recommend the homemade chips and dip as they're not your common tortilla chips and salsa. Be warned though, because they are addicting! All of their sandwiches are flavorful and leave you satisfied that it can be difficult to choose which to order! Dress: Although most of the clientele will be donning their chicest business attire, this place is as casual as can be, so feel free to show up in jeans or a cute daytime dress. Miscellaneous: Parking can be really tough in this area and you may have to scourge for a meter for a little while before getting lucky.
