Yum yum yum yum. I'd choose this over Fat Sals anyway! Best drunk food to have! Best SOBER food to have. Their service is great, super fast. It gets pretty crowded in their though. There are no tables to sit at, just a stool or two. So its great for take out! Their sauces are absolutely amazing!! You mussst try them all. Number one favorite, I have to say is the white sauce. Or mix the hummus with hot sauce. ACTUALLY, mix all the sauces together. Their chicken wraps are absolutely amaaaazing! Prices are fine, not too expensive at all (worth every dime may I add). Not to mention it's definitely a healthier option than a lot of the other places that are open late night in Westwood. You will always leave happy. Give it a try :)

This place is a popular alternative to Fat Sal's after a night out in Westwood. The people that work here are friendly and efficient when it comes to getting you your food in a timely manner. There is practically no seating...I think they maybe have two stools? So you should definitely take it to go.

My first time trying Mediterranean food was at this restaurant. It is a really good place for a quick grab. They have options from you to choose from but I like the falafel the best. Once you order, you get to choose your toppings from the condiment bar, where they have lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and sauces. The sauces they have are hot sauce, hummus sauce, which I think is amazing, and Tahini sauce. Bella Pita had really good service but they do not have that much sitting, therefore many people get it to go. It was a delicious place to try Mediterranean food for the first time.

This place is open till 2 am so if you have midnight munchies this is the place to go. The food here is amazing. The price is really cheap. They have pitas and wowshi, which I have believe is the best item for your money. I personally feel that their chicken wowshi hits the spot. There fill-in bar, which includes lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers and other stuff, is usually kept clean and they always have everything. They have many sauces such as white sauce, hummus, and really hot sauce, which burns a lot but adds flavor to the wowshi. Even though it is a small place, it is one of the best places in Westwood to eat.

Late night munchies? Casual lunch meet up? Feeling something new for breakfast? Second dinner? Bella Pita is perfect. I used to get the steak wowshi all the time- grilled to perfection. Now my new favorite are the falafel pita pockets. This is saying something, because I don't normally go crazy over falafel since I'm a meat kind of girl. But no matter what main entree you order, it is a sin not to get the fried cauliflower. Sure it's a little on the greasy side, but hey, they're vegetables right? Even got my mom to start making them at home but it's just not the same. For spicy lovers, their extra spicy sauce is amazing. Wish I could buy a whole bottle!

Bella Pita is delicious!!! Everything is made fresh and to order, from the bread to the Falafels. It is a tight squeeze to make an order, let alone sit there and enjoy your meal. I suggest ordering to go! My favorite thing to order is the falafel pita. You get to choose what you want to add from the condiments bar. The cucumber and tomato mixture and lettuce are a great addition. Then there are the sauces: The really hot sauce [which for some reason I always think I can handle large amount of] is spicy! The hummus sauce is great, especially if you mix it with the hot sauce And then there is the Tahini sauce –made with sesame- which is excellent! You must try Bella Pita; you will never be disappointed here!

I am so thankful to my friend who dragged me here for the first time. I probably never would have walked in otherwise. It's a small place on Gayley, not very noticeable as you're walking/driving down the street. All you see is what looks like a mini-subway, with much less standing/sitting room: menu overhead, cashier, trays of condiments/toppings. and there's not much in the way of seating, just a bar at the window with some stools. But when you walk in that smokey smell is irresistible. It took me forever to decide what to get, because I'm not very familiar with Greek food and everything seemed equally foreign to me. I ended up getting a chicken pita sandwich, to be 'safe.' Now I want to go back as much as I can to try everything! You get to pile on all the toppings you want (as healthy and/or as flavorful as desired). It's pretty cheap too. I wish I was eating there right now...

Bella Pita is a great healthy option in Westwood. Both their pita sandwiches and wowshis are very well-made and are sure to impress. Their menu selections are also very customizable, so you can pick whatever veggies and sauces you want to put in your sandwich! This variety factor is one of Bella Pita’s biggest strengths, as even the pickiest of eaters will find something they like here. My personal fave is the steak pita because, well, I like steak a lot. I have friends that really enjoy the chicken wowshi and the lamb pita as well. Pretty much most of their menu is awesome! This place is a Westwood must-eat.

Go here. There's not much else I can say about this place other than to implore you to go. I've lost count of how many times I've been here (both as an end to a late night out or just for a casual lunch/dinner). They specialize in two main types: Pitas and Wowshis. Both can have various types of meat (chicken, lamb, falafel, steak, beef) but the pita is basically more in one pita while the wowshi splits the contents into two pitas. I split the pita with a friend when I'm not especially hungry. After you get your pitas/wowshis you go to the salad bar and load up on delicious and fresh veggies (tomatoes, pickled veggies, lettuce, cucumbers- the works). There are also awesome sauces (the super hot sauce is legitimately super hot). Another big recommendation of mine is the fried cauliflower. It's probably not that much healthier than a side of fries, but it is absolutely amazing. I never liked cauliflower much until I had it here- $1.50 for a baggie that really hits the spot. Another huge bonus is that they are open until 2am (last time I checked), so you should definitely end your night here if you can.

Bella Pita is delicious. The ingredients are fresh and flavorful with a self-serve bar for condiments and toppings, perfect for filling your pita to the brim. Bella Pita offers a more authentic Mediterranean experience than similar places, like Pita Pit, and a more personalized one too with the self service toppings. It's very small with no seating inside, so it's not the best place for a date. Unless maybe you're getting take out for a picnic or day at the beach. Great for late nights or to cure a hangover without the guilt of greasy fat-filled foods. Healthy, affordable and soo yummy! You really shouldn't miss it.

My Take: This hole-in-the-wall food spot is easy to miss, unless you know where to look. It's very popular among UCLA students late at night, after the bars have closed. The restaurant itself is very small, as it can only hold about ten people inside, but the food is satisfying—at least when you're drunk. Bella Pita's greatest strength is its bread because it's always warm and doughy. This is a great casual Mediterranean takeout spot in LA. The Scene: During the day, Bella Pita is dead, but at night, it's packed with UCLA students looking to get their drunchie fix. It's located right by Tommy Taco and Fat Sal's, two other popular late-night spots, so there's usually a fun crowd in this area on any given Thursday or Friday night. Cuisine: Bella Pita offers a variety of pita pockets (lamb, steak, turkey, and falafel) and wowshi pockets (black bean, chicken, burger, omelette, and basterma and cheese). In addition to your order, there is a self-serve bar of toppings, which includes cucumbers, lettuce, cabbage, tomatoes, red onions, tomato salad, and other typical Mediterranean toppings. I recommend the lamb pita. The meat is great, and the pita bread is warm. Prices: Bella Pita is budget-friendly for college students. The pitas and wowshis range from $5 for falafel or black bean to $9 for a lamb pita. These pockets are filling, and you can add vegetables, hummus, and other condiments to them, so it's worth the money. What to Wear: Casual dress is appropriate. Insider Info/When to Go: People usually go on late Thursday or Friday nights, after hitting up the bars. It's generally empty during the day.
