Dia De Los Muertos Music & Arts Festival - Arts Festival | Music Festival in Los Angeles.

The Dia de los Muertos Music and Arts Festival is an annual cultural event that takes place each November in East Los Angeles. The festival brings together Latino communities to celebrate the Day of the Dead and commemorate their ancestors. The holiday is typically celebrated with family and community gatherings, music, and feasting.

The Dia de los Muertos Music and Arts Festival is produced by Al Borde, the Latin entertainment media company, and features live music, art exhibits, and elaborate altar displays that honor the memory of loved ones.

Festivalgoers come to Dia de los Muertos eager to experience photography, mixed media, street art, musical performances, sculptures, and a variety of digital installations.

Each year, between 800 and 1,200 young, hip, and educated attendees enjoy free admission and feast on complimentary sweet bread, hot chocolate, tamales, and festive cocktails.

Past performers at the Dia de los Muertos Music and Arts Festival include DJ Cheebo, DJ Mr. Pauer, Santoros, and Steve Guerra. The festival has also featured work by muralist Jose Loza and contemporary artist Sandra Lopez-Laguna.
