Create Nightclub Information

Create Nightclub - Club in Los Angeles.

Located in the heart of Hollywood’s upscale club scene, the newly remodeled Create Nightclub, previously known as the Vanguard, has combined the lavishness of a luxury nightclub with the cavernous space and technology of a super-club music venue.

Neon hues, sleek lounge areas, and glossy finishes accentuate the ultrachic décor, while the real highlight comes from the main room; a dance floor and stage that take up the majority of the venue’s whopping 20,000 square feet of floor space.

Parties at Create Nightclub offer stylish patrons the option of both a pumping club with two dance floors and an intimate lounge experience. Meanwhile, a large, Asian-themed outdoor area provides refuge from the spacious interior when the sultry crowds start to really heat up.

Create’s main stage can hold nearly 2,000 partygoers, and brings in both A-list DJs as well as live acts to perform. DJs at Create Nightclub are mostly spinning thumping electronic music, but the venue also puts on shows of rock and hip-hop artists.

Remember Vanguard? Who??? ITS CREATE NOW!!!

Remember Vanguard? I do! Vanguard used to be a great venue because of its capacity but after years and years the place really needed to get its flavor back. I must say it took them long enough but its back and better than ever now renamed as CREATE! If you have experienced Las Vegas nightclubs and loved the venues, Create will rock your world. Not only is the open floor plan and AMAZING lightshows the highlight of the club but the DJ that have been scheduled to rock the night in the next few weeks is giving me something to look forward to.
An EDM must-attend club in LA

While I never came to this venue back when it was Vanguard, the club that was remodeled as Create has become a top spot to see A-list EDM artists in Los Angeles, and probably my favorite. It reminds me a lot of the best clubs in Vegas such as XS and Marquee, due to its size and its spacious outdoor lounge area. The dance floor is roped off with several gaps that are enforced to remain clear by bouncers, so moving around the club via the side aisles is never difficult even when it's packed, and it's easy to get in and out of the dance floor, or even make your way directly to the very front by the DJ. With 3 bars accessible to everyone, getting drinks has never taken long, and the bathroom line always moves quickly. The VIP tables keep the exclusivity feel, yet are close enough to the dance floor that they don't feel separate. The lights, visuals, and effects are top-notch, and of course the DJs that Create has been bringing since it partnered with sbe and Insomniac have been the best of the best -- in just a couple months since the club opened, I've seen Armin Van Buuren, Nervo, Arty, and Sander Van Doorn, and nearly every Friday and Saturday can be expected to have a well-known DJ. There was one issue (at the Nervo event) where the club oversold by A LOT, leaving a lot of paying fans disappointed and unable to get in the club after it hit capacity. Luckily, I was able to surpass the masses of people outside by being on a list, but many clubgoers were left with a negative impression of the club's management. However, since then, I think they have gotten things together, and at subsequent events (all for similarly large artists), I haven't seen nearly as many people waiting in line and things have gone smoothly. Another small issue I have is that Create owns its main parking lot and therefore is able to charge variable prices depending on the event, soaring up to $20, a big hit on your wallet if you're not carpooling. However, this definitely isn't enough of a detractor to keep me away, and I'll continue to attend frequently and check Create's lineups each week, knowing I'll find the best in EDM. Highly recommended for Los Angeles clubgoers!
Roomy and Fun

Create Nightclub is one of my favorites. With several rooms and a huge central dancefloor, the venue offers everyone a chance to breathe and step out of those high-heel shoes. If bottle service is your scene, the entire back portion of the club behind the DJ suits that purpose and features many of the club's hottest women and wealthiest men. Plus, you get a neat view of the dancefloor from the DJ perspective and get a close-up look at the skills with which they spin their records. Create is a little pricey but well worth the cover charge and the line.
Vanguard: Premier location for House music

People often forget about this place, and it's become a hidden gem that will not be in the shadows for much longer! Vanguard booked "House for Hunger", Featuring world wide DJ sensation Avicci, as well as acts such as Thomas Gold for NYE 2013, and Triitonal in a couple months. A massive property, Vanguard a bit of an obscure location, but the inside is what every club should be. Great audio, fantastic crowd, bottle service galore Check this place out.
Vanguard- one night is enough

My Take: Vanguard is one of the many lavish nightclubs that Hollywood has to offer. Although this nightclub has been a Hollywood staple for a while now, it just recently reopened due to new management. The main dance floor is huge, with a 17-foot sidewall located in the front where the DJ spins. Tables run along the dance floor where people can order bottle service and there is a balcony that overlooks the dance floor with three large bay windows. Although the venue is fairly nice, I was not impressed with the service. My friends and I went to see Avicii at the grand reopening last week and were slightly disappointed. Door opened at 9pm but we arrived around 10:30pm and waited in a line for about 20 minutes. Once we were let inside we discovered that there were not many people there at all, making our wait seem pointless. Although we cabbed it, parking is expensive ($20 in their lot) and there is not much street parking. While we enjoyed the music, we noticed that there was a leak in the ceiling from the fog blowers that they were using for Avicii’s set. And I’m not talking about a small leak, it was literally pouring down water. Overall I thought the venue was decent, but there are definitely better places that one can go to in Hollywood where it is just as chic and not nearly as pretentious. Then Scene: Vanguard attracts your quintessential Hollywood club goers. Cocktails & Cuisine: No cuisine served here, but there is a full stocked bar. However, be warned, drinks are way over priced. My friend bought three drinks and he ended up paying $50 dollars. Prices: This will be a pricey night. Make sure you are ready to throw down some cash. What to Wear: Time to bust out your Hollywood clubwear. Little black dresses, high heals and guys with button down shirts. Insider Info: If you need to take a break from the dance floor, Vanguard has a nice Asian-themed outdoor patio with a huge smiling Buddha statue. I thought the Buddha was a nice touch.
