I absolutely love this place. I've been to both the Beverly Hills as well as the Santa Monica locations, and I am so excited whenever I get to go! 1. Their panini prosciutto de parma-one of my favorites. Savory and delicate, deliciously paired with their mixed greens salads. 2. Their Spanish latte-all I can say about this is that it is a perfectly sweet, perfectly balanced latte. Totally recommend this if you go. 3. Their matcha green tea tiramisu-a party in your mouth from the very first bite. So decadent, creamy, and full of green tea flavor. I've yet to try their many other desserts, but this is something I would get every time I go. I'm also a sucker for cute, outdoor seating, which they have. I would have to say that Urth is relatively pricey, so it's an indulgence I can't partake of too frequently. College problems, I know.

The menu is great, filled with healthy delicious options. I love having brunch or lunch outside on the patio, enjoying a nice day, good company, and great food. Sometimes it can be ridiculously busy, but it's worth it. Gotta get my caffeine

Urth is the perfect stop after a long hike at Runyon Canyon - which is exactly what I did before I came here. The food comes in fairly large proportions, but it's always healthy and fresh. Even if you're not exactly health conscious, they have delicious sandwiches and sweet treats for everyone's taste buds. Parking isn't the best in the area - we drove around until we finally found street parking a ways away. Seating isn't great either - we got one of the last tables when arrived for a late lunch. However, Urth is worth trying (or getting takeout!).

I'm pretty sure I'm in love with Urth Caffe. Especially when they have their half-priced pastries. Their pumpkin cheesecakes are one of my favorite desserts to enjoy in LA. The Beverly Hills location has a great outdoor seating area with heating lamps. If i ever want to just grab a latte and lounge around with a friend while having some good conversations, I go to Urth. Not too far of a drive for UCLA students, but the price may be too steep for some. I end up paying around 15 every time I make it out to Urth. I say it's worth it.

The food is on the pricey side, but not unreasonable, especially for Beverly Hills. Their sandwiches and salads are a good size and filling, without making you feel stuffed or guilty. Their lemonade goes great with the food, especially while eating outside on a sunny LA afternoon. I had their pumpkin pie once which is really good, and tastes more vegetable-y than super sweet like other pumpkin pies. Kind of crowded on a Friday afternoon, so you might have to hover the tables a little bit and grab one when you can, but eating at Urth is worth any kind of line or wait.

I loved Urth when I went. The people are so friendly there and it has a really lively atmosphere, which was fun to see because I went at 10pm one night and the rest of the street was dead. It has an awesome Mediterranean/Middle Eastern feel to it, though the food ranges all over the place. I got a great matzo ball soup there and a crazy good vegan chocolate cake. It's a great place to hang out and eat some really good food. I keep recommending it my friends, and I'm recommending it to you, trust me it's good.

Urth is my go to brunch, lunch and sometimes even dinner spot. The staff there is always friendly and your food comes out pretty quickly. I have been to multiple of the locations in LA and they all seem consistent with one another. I highly recommend the proscuitto panini- it is so yummy! There salads are always delicious. They seem to make all their meals with very fresh ingredients. I never leave feeling guilty about what I ate because the portions here are pretty well controlled and if you are still not content, they have an extensive selection of mouth watering pastries and desserts. Seating is inside or outside at every location I have missed thus far and it is always pretty crowded. If you come around the 1 o'clock lunch rush, you may find yourself waiting for a table to take over but as this restaurant is delicious and has a very friendly environment, it is well worth the wait!

I think certain things lose their luster when they franchise. I mean, just look at what happened to Umami Burger (don't EVER go to the location at the Grove!). With Urth, I think they now have 4 spots around the city, and unfortunately, nothing quite compares to the original. Urth Caffe in Beverly Hills is spot on when it comes to the food - no different than WeHo and just as tasty. I can still order my veggie salads and yummy sandy's without any issues. I think it's the clientele that knocks it down a star for me. Where as the WeHo version gets the younger starlets and all their peeps, you get an older crowd for the Bev Hills spot. There's just less of a young energy in general. I do like the outdoor seating though, it's really set up nicely at the Bev Hills locale. Generally, the two spots are pretty much the same, but if you want to spot Miley Cyrus instead of Billy Ray Cyrus - go to WeHo over Beverly Hills.

Basically the same as its sister location in WeHo, Urth Caffe in Beverly Hills is a trendy cafe filled with a see and be seen crowd of socialites, celebs, wealthy entertainment types and all the things that goes with that. You have the requisite paparazzi across the street, you have the hangers-on, you have the tourists looking to catch a peek, etc. Urth's food is always good, so there's nothing bad to say about it. The coffee and teas are great as well. The one thing that's probably better about Urth Caffe in Beverly Hills vs. WeHo is that there's more room to move around and more places to sit. Granted, I'm never there during any high-trafficked hours, but I always seem to find a place to sit without waiting in a terrible line. Overall, Urth is fine, and you if you want a really sceney spot, it's perfect for you. If you simply want to drink coffee in peace, go somewhere else.
