One of the great things about living in a sprawling metropolis like Los Angeles is the massive assortment of professional sports teams, and an even better thing about living here might be the astounding number of sports bars in LA.
Local fans are sometimes accused of being the fair weather variety, but this city bleeds purple and gold at sports bars all over town when the Lakers are on the court, and maybe just as much white and blue for Dodgers baseball. From hipster-heavy Silver Lake and celebrity-riddled Hollywood to glitzy Beverly Hills and laidback Venice, sports bars in Los Angeles keep armchair athletes active, rowdy, and whetted.
The two major teams aside, LA also plays host to more basketball with the Clippers, hockey with the Kings, a second baseball team with the Angels, soccer with the Galaxy, major golf and tennis tournaments, and of course big time college rivals the UCLA Bruins and USC Trojans who fight every year for a berth in the annual Rose Bowl game.
Finding a bar with any of these teams playing on the TV is hardly a chore no matter where you find yourself, although choosing which team you ought to root for while there can be dicey depending on what kind of sports bar it is. When in doubt, follow the crowd, or just find the best dedicated Los Angeles sports bars for you here on Party Earth.
