Lord's Cricket Ground Information

Lord's Cricket Ground - Stadium in London.

It really doesn’t matter whether one can follow a match of cricket or not – a sunny day at Lord’s Cricket Ground offers a fabulous excuse for an outdoor party where even the uninitiated can enjoy a few pints, soak up the rays, and blindly cheer for the local Marylebone and Middlesex players along with the rest of the 32,000 fans.

An outing to the grounds is especially entertaining when there’s an important international match on the agenda that pits England against Australia or the West Indies.

The best plan for those in the dark is to infiltrate a band of locals so they can explain what’s going on.

Visitors who want to enhance their cricket education can take some side trips to the Marylebone Cricket Club Museum and the MCC Indoor Cricket School, which offers a bowling machine and coaching sessions. The Lord’s Shop sells souvenirs and all the equipment new fans will need to get their cricket careers off the ground.

Food / Miscellaneous
Food outlets are located around the grounds, and prepared picnic hampers can be ordered in advance. Ticket holders are permitted to enter the grounds with a maximum of two pints of beer or one 75cl serving of wine per person.

Prices
Tickets £20+ for adults. Snacks and drinks £2+.

Dress
Dress code: costumes and oversized hats are forbidden.
