The Underworld Information

The Underworld - Live Music Venue in London.

The Camden Underworld, located in the basement of the World’s End pub, is a music venue in Camden Town, England. Concerts at The Underworld are often up and coming and well established bands from across the rock and metal music scene. These head banging musical performances, beginning at around 6pm, occur throughout the week and range in cost between £10 and £20. The capacity of the venue is 500 people, but despite its somewhat modest size, the Camden Underworld has a big reputation. The Underworld Club has won Venue of the Year and has hosted bands such as The Cranberries, The Darkness and Radiohead. The crowd at The Underworld is often young and attracted by the cheap alcohol and loud music.

Every Friday and Saturday night The Camden Underworld holds affordable club nights ranging in cost between £4 and £6. On Fridays from 11pm –3am the club hosts “POP IT!" where they play the best pop of the past 3 decades. This retro music night is sure to get the crowd nostalgic and dancing along to the bumping beats. On Saturday nights The Underworld has “Silver,” London’s longest running rock and indie themed club night. DJ Jo Bliss is sure to keep the dance floor packed by spinning classics from artists like The Strokes, Crystal Castles, The Cure and Le Tigre. The Underworld continues to draw in the gods of metal, indie, hip-hop and a number of other scenes within London’s trendy Camden Town.
