Ses Salines is known for two things: A large park stretching out from the island’s southern tip that’s been declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and an exclusive beach brimming with gorgeous celebrities and yacht-toting glitterati that has been declared a you-need-to-check-out-the-bod-on-that-one site.

Both sun-bathing and partying here is largely for the “in” crowd, so it’s no surprise that the wide crescent of perfectly manicured sand that makes up Las Salinas beach practically disappears beneath a blanket of barely-there bikinis during the summer.

Sweeping dunes and nearby woods can make for a quick escape for those in need of a little more isolation, while the areas exclusive bars and restaurants make for easily accessible (and wallet-busting) pregame spots before visitors head off to the louder club scene on other parts of the island.
