Party Earth Review Tucked away behind an Arabian-style keyhole door in San Rafael is El Ayoun, an elegant restaurant and lounge with a decidedly Moroccan and Middle Eastern flair. Most of the venue’s space has been given over to the vast terrace and garden, whose white-tented dining enclaves and candlelit tables create a soothing aura conducive ... more

Party Earth Review With its panoramic views, relaxed atmosphere, and true Ibizan hippie-chic crowd, Kumharas is an amazing place to enjoy the famous island sunsets. For starters, there are not a ton of lounges in Ibiza. However, the ones that do pepper the small island offer up some incredible live music, delectable food, and some of the best views found anywhere.
Because the island is so club crazy, people often forget about the multitude of other options. As a result there are some great places to wine, dine, and lounge and many can be found in Ibiza Town, San Rafael, San Antonio, and Playa d’en Bossa.
The Ibiza lounges are good for a few things: first, they make for a great date spot (if you remember the name and number of the person you met at the club the night before). Second, there’s some really good live music coming from places like Villa Mercedes and Teatro Pereyra – this is good when you’re oontz oontz’d out. And third, there are some great spots for simply soaking in the sunset, which is a time-honored tradition in Ibiza where the entire island comes together to collectively chill for an hour or two.
So when you’re ready to put away your glow sticks and want something a little more refined, check out some of the lounges around the island, you might just discover some sanity amongst all the clubbing madness.
