When you’re in a relationship with someone who likes cars, motorcycles, Formula One and all things MotoGP, you will end up at least on a stretch of this circuit in Monaco. We were on foot, so it wasn’t quite as exciting as being practically lying down in a Ferrari-custom-made racecar. The cars here in everyday Monaco aren’t even that normal looking compared to their racing counterparts: some of the Lamborghinis and Ferraris reliving the Formula One circuit on their daily joyride look just as ridiculous. It’s like watching a wannabe-James Bond chase scene. The overpriced cars are merely part of Monaco’s ostentation; a testament to spending too much money on an expensive passion.
