There’s a reason why the French Riviera is one of the hottest tourist destinations on the planet – and the reason is the beaches. With so many options to choose from all along the Mediterranean, those looking for a high-end and exclusive experience are just as likely to find something perfect as those looking for something more bohemian.
Starting off, one of the most popular and pristine beaches in the French Riviera is Plage de la Croisette in Cannes. One of the ritziest beaches in the area Croisette is located in front of a row of luxurious hotels and high-end shopping boutiques and stores.
Over in Nice, Nice Beach is a favorite amongst tourists and locals alike and is a perfect place to soak up the sun. There’s a long boardwalk extending the length of the beach and is a great spot for rollerbladers and bike riders. The beach itself is rocky as opposed to sandy, but that doesn’t stop sun worshippers from coming en masse both day and night.
There are so many other French Riviera beaches to list like Castel Plage in Nice which is surrounded by bars and restaurants, or Plage du Ponteil in Juan-les-Pins which features non-stop water sports and attracts all kinds.
