A popular nightspot for locals, Le Ghost is usually packed with a boisterous and fun-loving crowd, all dimly lit by the antique lamps that are the bar’s only source of light. One of the city’s hidden gems, the lounge looks closed from the outside, but guests need only ring the doorbell to call a bouncer who will usher them inside – provided there’s enough space, that is.
Maroon leather booths are great for lounging, but even better for dancing on when the house DJ starts spinning cool jazz, funk, soul, and hip-hop that gets the crowd of casually-dressed young professionals and students on its feet.
A bar opposite the booths stretches the length of the lounge to provide plenty of space for mingling – or for watching the slide show of the bar’s previous parties and theme nights on the flat-screen TV.
Patrons looking for some respite from the loud music can squeeze into the cozy back room for a bit of conversation at normal volume.
For those lucky enough to squeeze inside, the energy and ambiance of Le Ghost is sure to set the stage for a night of fun and adventure.
