Creativity runs wild at Angie’s Pub, an artsy and alternative watering hole with the abstract aesthetic of a lounge and the rowdy vibe of a neighborhood pub.
Bottles of liquor perched on old and slanting wood mantles provide an air reminiscent of a Wild West saloon, while indie art murals, newspaper clippings, Polaroid snapshots, antique lamps, and random accents like tricycles give the place an oddly homey atmosphere.
On weekends, the pub opens the more spacious back room and bar where laid-back patrons chill out on beer-keg chairs and listen to a DJ spin rock, indie, and pop.
Thanks to its affordable drinks, upbeat indie music, and unique flavor, Angie’s maintains a welcoming, social environment where a diverse crowd of regulars, English speakers, students, and travelers come together for conversation and maybe a bit of dancing.
Locals, expats, English-speaking students, and travelers, 20s and 30s.
A mix of rock, indie, and pop music. Occasional DJ parties on the weekends.
