Over the last couple years, Dillon has really grown into one of the best DJ/Producers in the game. He started out as a trailblazer for moombahton after the genre's inception in 2011 and quickly grew into one of the most iconic figures in the EDM community. With remixes for the likes of Justin Timberlake, Passion Pit, and Chase & Status, there doesn't seem to be any genre this guy won't touch. His DJ sets support this theory as he easily transitions from moombahton to electro house to drum & bass, dubstep, and trap. Having seen him 5 times over the last two years, I can promise that he knows how to throw a party, complete with cats, tacos, and plenty of middle fingers.

Dillon Francis is GREAT. He played at UCLA last year at Ackerman Grand Ballroom and threw it DOWN. He did get mad because people were throwing stuff at him though, he stopped the music and yelled at everyone that next time it happened he'd stop playing altogether, which prompted our guy friends to yell some not-so-nice things at him. I saw him again at EPR in San Francisco recently, and while Dillon was awesome, the crowd he attracted to that venue was kinda weird because it was suuuuper young people. I'm only 21 and I felt too old. Anyway, his music is moombahton and trap which is my faaavorite right now, and I love that a lot of the lyrics in his songs are in Spanish; can't go wrong with Español.

Dillon Francis is a homie. I was on the set of his "Masta Blasta: The Rebirth" shoot a few weeks ago. Not only is that a great song, but when I yelled at Dillon for messing up the shot he owned up to it. The first time I saw him I didn't remember it, which was very unfortunate because I'm a huge fan of his songs "Que Que" and "I.D.G.A.F.O.S. 2.0." This man does makes some really good moombahton overall, and I did finally get to see him spin at Hard Summer, and he lived up to the hype. While this man is no Diplo, his mix of moombah with trap and his own style of electro always guarantee a good time.
