Chicago Nightlife Areas Overview

Rush & Division - Nightlife Area in Chicago

If you’re looking for great nightlife in Chicago, you don’t have to search for long as there are tons of bars, clubs, lounges, pubs, and restaurants in various nightlife areas all over the city.

One of the biggest nightlife traditions in Chicago involves the beloved Chicago Cubs. Anytime there’s a game, denizens flock to the countless bars and pubs surrounding Wrigley Field for stellar food and beer before, during, and after games. Once the games officially end, the bars really get packed as thousands of excited or depressed fans (depending on the outcome) pack into the bars and easily hop from one to the next.

Another great Chicago nightlife area is Division Street, where by day, shoppers abound, but by night the street is filled with bar- and pub-hoppers looking for drink specials and a future significant other.

The area of Division Street that intersects with Rush Street is yet another great nightlife area. Dubbed the Viagra Triangle due to an onslaught of older guys hitting on dolled up younger gals, the area is popular for clubbing bachelorettes and a slew of very energetic club lovers.

Nightlife areas in Chicago aren’t tough to come by, so whether you’re looking for some rowdy sports action, great pub grub, or a late night of dancing, you’ll always find something to love.
