Party Earth Review If the name doesn’t give it away, the muffled sounds of live music mixed with the smell of pizza should clue first-time visitors in to Beat Kitchen’s double identity as a restaurant and live music venue. Serving up fresh pies and lots of sandwiches and large salads, the place is a magnet for folks who aren’t even there ... more

Chicago is an awesome place to move in a crowd. Whether shopping with friends along the Magnificent Mile or dancing the night away at one of Chicago’s many clubs and music venues, it is certainly a place that makes it easy to travel in packs.
For daytime activities, Millennium Park is a perfect spot to while away the hours with friends. In the summertime, free concerts on Monday nights make for excellent group outings; just bring a picnic basket and a blanket and soak up the sun with some nice music.
Groups in Chicago can also enjoy one of many daytime tours, from river cruises to bus tours, to the more tantalizing beer tours offered by The Chicago Beer Experience, or a comedy tour offered by Second City. Chicago even offers chocolate tours! All of these activities are excellent for groups, although they do require a bit of advance planning.
For the more plan-as-you-go oriented, Chicago offers a variety of nightlife options for groups. Danny’s and The Hideout are great spots for late-night dancing with friends, while Howl at the Moon is the place to be to belt tunes along with the dueling pianos and get a tad too intoxicated with friends.
Whether it be the beach, the zoo, or the Randolph Street Market (a nearly year-round outdoor bazaar), there are plenty of activities in Chicago that are perfect for groups!
