Rosemont Theatre is a 4,400-seat concert hall in Rosemont, IL. Performances at Rosemont Theatre range from Broadway musicals to theater productions to world-class musical acts.

Opened in 1995, Rosemont Theatre is one of the Chicago area’s largest theaters. The venue offers a multi-level VIP room for 150 guests, and the soaring grand lobby can hold up to 3,000 for private cocktail events. The theater space offers great sightlines on both the main floor and balcony levels, and the state-of-the-art sound system offers superior acoustics.

Since its opening, the variety of acts at Akoo Theatre have included Broadway hits such as Mamma Mia! and Cats and world-famous comedians such as Bill Cosby and Jerry Seinfeld. For Chicago’s 20-something crowd, the venue is most well known for its musical acts. Live music at Rosemont Theatre has included Britney Spears’ debut concert tour, Bruce Springsteen, and Lady Gaga.

Relaxing outdoor music venue for people of all ages

Ravinia is a great place to bring anyone from your kids to your grandparents and enjoy a relaxing outdoor concert. Perfect for people of all ages, people can bring their own blankets, food, chairs and games to sit on the plush lawn while enjoying each others company and actually being able to hear (!) each other talk. Don't feel like bringing your own food? No problem, there are restaurants and personal catering services available. If you're looking to host your own party you can even rent out a tent. If you're looking to get closer view for big name events, pavilion setas are available as well. Watch out for the parking, which can get extremely overcrowded and you may have to walk very far. I'd suggest taking the Metra train or carpooling and leaving a car there early. Otherwise, tickets go on sale very early so plan ahead. Overall, Ravinia is definitely one of the most family-friendly concerts available that will offer a truly relaxing summer night. And be sure not to forget the bug spray.
