The Chicago Cubs currently play baseball at Wrigley Field, which is the second oldest stadium in Major League Baseball having been built in 1914 and has a seating capacity of 41,009. The Cubs are part of the National League’s Central Division which includes other Midwest teams like the St. Louis Cardinals and Pittsburgh Pirates. Winners of multiple Pennants and World Series titles (though not since 1908), the Cubs have featured hall of famers such as Ernie Banks, Mordecai Brown, Andre Dawson, Goose Gossage, and Ryne Sandberg. Cubs tickets aren’t always easy to come by since the team sells out games in spite of its commonly bad records. Cubs games though are packed as fans continue to flock to the ivy walls of the Friendly Confines – one of the best places on the planet to watch a baseball game while comsuming a cold one on a summer day – hoping and praying that this will be the year that the team breaks their World Series drought.
