Smart Bar - Club in Chicago.

Situated just north of Chicago’s famed Wrigley Field, Smart Bar offers wise partiers a fun, welcoming environment in which to spend their coveted free time. Smart Bar is open from 10pm until 4am on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday, and 10pm until 5am on Saturday, affording guests an opportunity to rage into the wee hours of the morning.

Smart Bar doesn’t have a strict dress code like many of its lounge counterparts – shirt, shoes, and pants will do – but refuses to sacrifice in the way of class. The venue doesn’t play Top 40 music or rap, instead opting to spin house, techno, tech-house, dubstep, and drum & bass music for the most part. The eclectic list of guest DJs consist of some of the best performers on the planet.

Great place to dance to great music

Saw my friend DJ here a few months ago. The dance floor is reasonably large, and the drinks are somewhat reasonably priced. But if you're as much of a House junkie as I am, you'll love this place. Plenty of underground local talent here within the House and Techno genre. The sound system in this place is amazing, and gets you grooving. If you're a dance-music aficionado, then you'd love this place, as there are very few Bros and obnoxious drunks trying to get into fights. Also, the air in this place stays relatively comfortable, aka not sweaty and smelly, despite how much dancing goes on in there.

Smartbar has been around for a while, and it consistently is an awesome spot to go if you just want to dance it out. The downside is that drinks aren't cheap, and there is always some sort of cover, but the music here is topnotch. Their sound system is all-consuming, so you won't be able to avoid feeling the music course through you and suddenly being overwhelmed with the desire to dance. It is in the middle of Wrigleyville, so the electro, techno, dub-step you'll hear here, as well as the discerning dance-music aficionados don't blend with the surrounding bro bars, but that's a good thing! Definitely check this spot out when you are looking for a night full of beats and an excellent workout.
