Chicago denizens live and breathe the sports in their city, and whenever the Bears, Bulls, Cubs, White Sox, or Blackhawks are playing, the city’s countless sports bars fill up with rabid fans cheering on their favorite teams.
There are so many sports bars in Chicago that it can often be tough to choose the best one for you. Rest assured however that all the Chicago sports bars have many things in common. There are always multiple big screens to catch every game on any day, the bar food will be greasy and filling, and the clientele will be passionately rooting for that game-winning drive or play.
If you’re a White Sox fan, there’s really only one bar you need to know – Cork & Kerry at the Park. A block away from the stadium, ticketless fans have been able to root for the Sox since the 80s. For Cubs fans, there’s an entire neighborhood of sports bars built around Wrigley Field and the Cubby Bear and Sluggers are two great places to watch the game. If you’re looking for a great Bulls or Blackhawks bar, there’s WestEnd which features more than 30 TVs and loads of cheering young professionals.
No matter where you go in Chicago, the game will probably be on, but if you want some of the best experiences watching your favorite teams, check out any of the great Chicago sports bars spread throughout the city.
