Symphony Hall Information

Symphony Hall - Concert Venue in Boston.

Symphony Hall, home to the Boston Symphony Orchestra, the Boston Pops, and the Haydn and Handel Society, is one of the most romantic and charming venues in the city. Opened in 1900, Symphony Hall has retained the antique splendor of a bygone era, with gold molding framing the stage, and statues of Greek and Roman figures peeking out from recessed alcoves.

The venue can accommodate 2,625 guests who have the privilege of enjoying the program of the evening while sitting in the original 1900 leather seats, and as for the acoustics of the venue, Symphony Hall is considered one of the best places in the world to listen to classical music.

For those who’d like to wine and dine their companion before the concert, the Symphony Café offers an a la carte menu as well as a prix-fixe buffet. Getting there is no difficult task, either – the Symphony stop on the Green E train is directly in front on the Hall, and the Symphony Garage a block away offers valet service. For classical music lovers, a concert at Symphony Hall is a must.

Amazing!

From the building to the orchestra it's self, everything was amazing! The architecture was beautiful and the music moved me. It's not just for adults either. My husband and I took our boys to a kids concert and they had a blast going to all the different activities that we're set up and then loved listening to the orchestra play the Imperial march from Star Wars! It was a great place to make memories with the kids.
