Hard Rock Cafe Boston Information

Hard Rock Cafe Boston - Bar | Live Music Venue | Restaurant in Boston.

Whether you feel like attending a concert, grabbing dinner, playing pool, or hitting up the bar, Boston’s Hard Rock Cafe has you covered. Originally located in Copley Square, the Hard Rock relocated to the rowdy Faneuil Hall area in 2007, where it functions mainly as a place for friends to gather and demolish burgers and ice cream sundaes before making the rounds at the nearby bars. While the Boston branch occasionally hosts shows from big-name acts such as Neon Trees, Scotty McCreery, and Third Eye Blind, the focus is on local underground bands, which have a chance on the stage during “Homegrown Sundays.”

Because the performance area at the Hard Rock Cafe isn’t huge – it has a seating capacity of 170 – patrons can get up close and personal with the band…or smushed in the boisterous crowd. The 60-seat patio is an ideal place to sip a Bloody Mary on a sunny summer afternoon, and the Boston Room, with its rock memorabilia-plastered walls, is a unique place to host a special event. Parking in Faneuil can be tight, so rock fans going to concerts at the Hard Rock Cafe hop off the T at Government Center and walk the remaining few blocks.

Delicious and Fun

The Hard Rock Cafe is definitely the place to go for way above average pub food and a bar-like atmosphere, while still being at a nicer restaurant. Famous for its live performances and gift shop, the food here appeals to everyone, but something about it just makes the average burger taste better. Their pulled pork is extremely good, and the prices are very reasonable. I've been there for 3 different birthdays, and I've gotten the performers to sing to my friends before, which was so fun. It's an overall chill atmosphere with rock n' roll decor and great food that always makes me want to go there again.

Hard Rock Cafe has great food with cool decorations. It has signed guitars, posters, etc. from famous musicians. They have televisions around the restaurant to show sporting events or sometimes a documentary about a musician. I recommend their cheese fries and burgers.
