Bowling alley, pool hall, and raucous nightclub all in one, Jillian’s is a three-story playground popular with young professionals, sports fans, students, and clubbers alike.
Bowling enthusiasts will want to make a beeline for Lucky Strike on the top floor, a bowling alley fitted out with a mix of modern and 50s furnishings, backlit pins, high-tech video score panels, and a bar and restaurant serving burgers and mozzarella sticks.
The fun continues at Jillian’s on the second floor, where couples and groups mingle at the huge oval bar before descending on the thirty pool tables and array of dart boards, video games, and ping-pong tables for some spirited competitive gaming action.
On game nights, dozens of large-screen TVs and comfy sofas make for a perfect setting for ticketless Sox fans.
The biggest party, however, takes place at Tequila Rain, the first-floor nightclub whose special deals for the ladies attract plenty of girls’-night-out cuties and the frat boys who love them – especially on weekends, when the place explodes into a wild spring break frenzy.
A raised lounge and bar area on one side of the iron railing provides space for the high-energy guests to mingle and flirt over a few kamikaze shots before hopping down to the dance floor on the other side for some boozy moves to the DJ’s mix of Top 40 tunes.
No matter what mood patrons are in, Jillian’s promises enough games and good times to please everyone from pool sharks to party animals.
Varies slightly by location, but generally young professionals, sports fans, birthday groups, college students, and tourists at Jillian’s, late teens to late 30s; upscale young professionals, bowling enthusiasts, and tourists at Lucky Strike, late 20s to 30s; and sorority/frat types, clubbers, and bachelorette parties at Tequila Rain, early 20s to early 30s.
