Pubs in Beacon Hill Overview

Though it’s unlikely that everybody in this area will know your name, it certainly shouldn't be surprising that the regulars at Beacon Hill pubs are recognized by staff, as many of them have been coming to these places for years.

As the inspiration for the watering hole featured in Cheers, the Bull and Finch Pub is a tourist attraction that draws hundreds of thousands of sightseers a year. But for anyone who can make it past all the sitcom merchandise, there is solid pub grub to be had, plus specialty drafts.

Over at the Beacon Hill Pub, visitors might wonder if the joint's first buck was a tip from Paul Revere. While there are not many frills to be found, it's one of the few places in town – particularly on Charles Street – where patrons can find reasonably-priced menu items.
