Party Earth Review If the fist-pumping Jersey Shore crew ever relocated to Boston, odds are good The Place would be on their frizzy-haired radar. In fact, they’d fit right in amid the kids in low-cut shirts and barely-there skirts who show up for nightly DJs and large cocktails. Chiefly a sports bar earlier in the day, the venue draws young ... more

Party Earth Review Although there are plenty of bars around Fenway Park, none of them offer a view quite like Bleacher Bar. Tourists and crowds of Boston University students ... more

In a city that’s completely obsessed with its teams, it should come as no surprise that the sports bars in Boston are completely packed whenever the Celtics, Red Sox, Patriots, or Bruins happen to be playing.
Although there are a great variety of Boston sports bars, they all have a lot in common. Every sports bar is typically filled with numerous TVs playing every game imaginable. The food is usually greasy, featuring burgers, wings, fries, nachos, etc. And the clientele is almost always rowdy, cheering on their teams with every basket, touchdown, or goal.
One of the best sports bars in the city is Bleacher Bar. This unique space has the distinction of having the best view of Fenway Park – considering its location right underneath the Green Monster in the outfield. Another great sports bar and Boston staple is Cask’n Flagon, which is only a stone’s throw from Fenway but also turns into a late night club. A great bar for Bruins or Celtics fans is The Fours, which is practically across the street from TD Garden where both teams play.
No matter where you are in the city, the games will always be on regardless if you’re in a sports bar or not. But if you truly want to share in the pride and camaraderie of Boston’s sports culture, there’s nothing quite like a Boston sports bar for watching the game.
