The trendy, upscale sister of the downstairs Junction Bar, Junction Café is a sleek bar and eatery that attracts a hip, young professional crowd.
Inside patrons will find an elegant black bar, leather booths glowing with red candles, and a friendly staff serving the afternoon crowd iced coffee and sandwiches.
Later in the evening, stylish guests sip martinis and mixed drinks under the artistic black-and-white photos that adorn the crimson walls, as unobtrusive music creates a soothing ambiance for quiet conversation.
Although Junction Café is the perfect place to grab an early meal or a drink before heading downstairs for a show, the simple, delicious menu and the posh but casual atmosphere draw a crowd on their own merits.
Local, hip, and stylish, 20s and up.
Always different, but mainly low-key pop and rock songs. Patrons should get their hands stamped if they want to go back and forth between the café and the downstairs bar. Free Wi-Fi.
Sandwiches, soups, and snacks. Good coffee selection. Happy Hour Su–Th 6–10pm. Martini Madness specials Sundays and Mondays 6pm–midnight.
Sandwiches €3.80–€4.20, snacks and soups €2.90–€4, salads €3–€5. Beer €2.50–€3.50, wine €2.50–€4, cocktails €5.20–€9, mixed drinks €4.70–€5.20.
Trendy casual.
There’s something going on just about any time, but the crowds peak on weekends around 10pm.
