In Barcelona, you hardly need an excuse to party all night long, but with some great nightlife areas in the city, it makes it really easy to hop from one venue to the next.
The nightlife areas in Barcelona traditionally focus around the plaças or squares in and around the city. Surrounding the historic spots are always a plethora of bars, clubs, lounges, and restaurants, giving the Barcelona denizens endless options to party till the sun comes up.
One of the biggest Barcelona nightlife areas is Passeig del Born. With the highest concentration of bars in the city, this central square of the Born district is a late night hotspot for bar hoppers of all kinds. Las Ramblas, meanwhile, is a wide boulevard and heart of the city that bustles by day with diners and shoppers and really gets going at night with great bars and clubs.
Plaça de Sol and Plaça Reial are two other squares and nightlife areas where people come to chill at cafés, chow down at tapas bars, listen to live music, and dance all night at booming clubs.
