Clubs in Gràcia Overview

Despite its reputation as being a more laid-back and mellower neighborhood than some of Barcelona’s more party-centric areas, Gràcia’s clubs still pack a punch.

The area isn’t frequented as much by tourists as say Barri Gótic or even L’Eixample, but what it lacks in tourist appeal it more than makes up for in local authenticity - and that extends well beyond its quaint plazas and quiet streets.

The most famous club in Gràcia is undoubtedly Otto Zutz, which spins a variety of tunes throughout its ritzy three stories. As is the case with Barcelona’s other big shot clubs, Otto Zutz keeps the party jumping until dawn and holds its own as a destination while doing so.

While the selections for big-name spots drops off after Otto Zutz, Gràcia’s club scene picks up the slack in other ways. There are a number of low-key spots that simply offer clubbers the opportunity to have fun. Gràcia’s clubs are able to cast a wider net and cater to more people because they aren’t in as high demand as larger clubs in Barcelona. In fact, Gràcia certainly is the place to go if cougar-hunting or silver-fox catching is on the agenda.
