Full of class and character, Miramelindo is a dark rustic tavern where smooth jazz keeps the mood mellow during the week and chatty Spaniards keep it lively on the weekends.
Hardwood floors, a piano by the fireplace, and soft lighting all contribute to a homey atmosphere downstairs, while wicker chairs on the carpeted mezzanine at the top of the spiral staircase provide a cozy nook overlooking the action.
The long mirrored bar features large bowls brimming with mysterious concoctions that turn out to be some amazing homemade cocktails.
Some of the bar’s unique creations include the Cocktail de Coca, which consists of cognac and coconut milk over crushed ice, and the delicious mimosa screwdriver, a mixture of vodka, orange juice, cava (Spanish champagne), and grenadine.
Miramelindo offers everything from natural fruit drinks to chocolate specialties, and the adventurous will reap the rewards of sampling from the extensive drinks menu.
Sociable and laid back, mostly late 20s to 30s.
Excellent jazz, blues, rock, and salsa.
Decadent desserts including chocolate mousse and sorbets to complement the cocktails.
Desserts €4. Beer €3+, cocktails €4.
Casual.
Weekends including Sunday, around 1am, or earlier to be sure of getting a seat.
