Feb 18, 2013 —  In the late 1700s, early American revolutionaries fought bravely and successfully for their sovereignty from the British Empire. To this day, each U.S. citizen holds their right of free speech above all other rights. However, every American holds another right near and dear to their heart; that right, of course, is to party.

During every week of every year, you are certain to find a festival taking place in one of the U.S. of A’s prime cities. These uniquely American shindigs attract travelers and locals from across the country, pond, and globe.

You can be treated to everything from delicious American cuisine with a Windy City spin at the Taste of Chicago to beautiful fireworks displays in New York City on the 4th of July.

Or, perhaps you prefer catching a buzz off a drink instead; if that’s the case, the American Craft Beer Fest in Boston is sure to do the trick.

America has a festival or celebration for whatever kind of mood you’re in. Just as the statue of Liberty once welcomed immigrants to the land of hopes and dreams, U.S. festivals welcome citizens and visitors alike to the celebration of America’s rich culture.
