Amsterdam
A great city for partying any day of the week, there are a number of nightlife areas in Amsterdam that cater to all walks looking for bars, clubs, and lounges in one general area.
The best part of nightlife areas is that there’s something for everyone. If you want to start your night off slow, there are always good bars and lounges from which to wet your whistle. If you want a booming club, there are plenty of dance spots to keep you going all night. And if you want all of the above, you have the ability to hop from one venue to the next.
One of the most popular Amsterdam nightlife areas is actually more of an entertainment complex called Westergasfabriek. This former Amsterdam gas plant is now home to numerous bars, clubs, restaurants, shops, and live music venues.
For a more subdued nightlife scene, there’s Albert Cuyp Markt. Bustling market by day, at night the area around the market turns into bar and café hopping spot especially along Eerst van der Helststraat.
In the summer, there’s nothing better than traveling west outside of the city to Bloemendaal aan Zee for a full day of beach fun, but an even fuller night filled with a cavalcade of upscale beach clubs.
Whether you want a raging club scene, a chill brown bar, or a little bit of both, there are enough nightlife areas in Amsterdam to meet all your partying needs.
