Straight out of New Orleans, the Bourbon Street Blues Club is a live music venue whose authentic, old-fashioned feel is perfectly complemented by the fantastic jazz and blues that has become the club’s trademark.
A spacious stage, which has played host to the likes of Sting and ZZ Top, dominates the back of the venue, and the wide, open area in the middle provides plenty of space for the crowds.
Black-and-white photo portraits of underground jazz musicians seem to watch the action from the walls, while the country-style bar and single street lantern mimic a classic street in The Big Easy.
As the night turns into morning, the scene grows progressively upbeat and the dancing reaches a fever pitch as couples, business people, travelers, locals, and whole stag parties kick off their shoes and absorb the music.
The warm and inviting atmosphere makes Bourbon Street a “must-go” for any blues lover looking to get groovy under the old-school chandeliers and antique brass instruments hanging from the high ceiling.
Laid back, sociable music lovers, both locals and visitors, 20s and up.
