Taste of DC 2012 Description

Taste of DC - Concert | Food & Drink Event in Washington, DC.

Taste of DC is a great food event in Washington where more than 50 restaurants offer $3 tastings of their best grub, so you can find that new favorite eatery without breaking the bank in the process.

Set up along Pennsylvania Avenue between 9th and 14th Streets for three solid days, Taste of DC also features booths with 30 specialty beers, a stage with all day live performances, and the Annual World Chili Eating Championship presented by Ben’s Chili Bowl.

Taste of DC admission fees are $10 per person, and include a soda, water, Stella Artois, or glass of wine. All of the participating restaurants at Taste of DC have at least one “taste” menu item for $3 or less.

Come bask in the shadow of The White House and the Capitol Building and fill up your stomach at Taste of DC!

Ben's Chili Bowl. One of Obama's favorites! Can't beat a chili eating contest. Just don't hang out around the participants once its over. Could get blown away.
