CityDance Center at Strathmore (North Bethesda, MD) Theater

Located in North Bethesda, Maryland, CityDance Center at Strathmore is a professional studio and theater dedicated to the exhibition and education of contemporary dance. Created in 1996, the venue is the home to the CityDance Conservatory and School – including the CityDance ensemble – and puts on the shows of its students and residents.

Beginning dancers can take classes at CityDance Center such as yoga and ballet, while advanced students study forms from modern to jazz to African fusion. Classes and performances at CityDance Center cater to over 25,000 people a year, and the ensemble is considered Washington, DC’s most distinguished dance company.
